A symphony of red lights, blinking like fireflies. A cool, brisk air settles over Tokyo. Each to their own, living out a slice of life unique to them. A person's life could be understood by others and yet remain mysterious. And yet, here in this crowded tower, with the cacophany of babies crying, foreign languages and indistinct chatter, was more isolating than being in the city. What was I missing? A concrete jungle blanketed the landscape. Maybe I missed the claustrophobic hotel rooms, the silent people packed like sardines on a train, the often lewd and unsavoury mags in a konbini. From the sky, reporting to Earth... this world is lonely.
